Public Service Announcement for the Hair-Obsessed

By this time, I think we all know how obsessed I am with my hair. It's wavy as hell, and all I've ever wanted is straight, blonde hair. The cliche is true: We always want what we can't have! I've spent my entire life obsessing over things that will make my hair look better and I finally found a product that deserves its own blog post, So, without further ado, here it is!

This lovely little guy is called It's a 10 Miracle Leave-In Plus Keratin and it's the absolute best product I've ever used in my hair. This stuff single-handedly brought my hair back to life after I bleached and destroyed the hell out of it. Everyone I've recommended it to so far has LOVED it -- including my boyfriend, whose hair is longer than mine -- but that's another blog post... :)

I honestly don't know what I did before I knew this stuff existed :) I even got my hairdresser to start using it, even though I'm pretty sure that was supposed to work the other way around!

Happy Mother's Day to everyone who has ever taken care of anyone unconditionally. Giving birth is not the only thing that makes you a mother. It's more about the love. In fact, it's all about the love. Anyone can have a baby. Not everyone can raise a person to be amazing. Here's to those women... the women who are raising remarkable people. It's the only job in the world where the hard part comes after the labor.

Happy Mother's Day to my beautiful mom. She was in labor with me for 22 hours. And then the hard work began :) Thank you, mom. You deserve more recognition than I could ever give you.

And don't forget the Mr. Moms today. Their influence matters more than you know.

Just celebrate love today. Only then will you know that you've grasped the true meaning of the day.

I love you, mom and dad. Thank you, from the bottom of my heart, for continuing to labor after the labor.
