Custom Decepticon Engagement Ring Setting

Dear God,

Thank you.

This is a custom Decepticon engagement ring setting created by DeviantARTist TheBoog17. Because if there's one thing that should symbolize a lasting marriage, it's deception. No word if it transforms and rolls out into a slap bracelet, but that would make it infinitely cooler than Transformers 4 is gonna be. TheBoog17's DeviantART Thanks to Katt, who asked for a brass knuckles engagement ring so she could get 4x the diamonds. Smart.

Maybe people ARE good?

Just when you become convinced that all people are awful, terrible beings, there's a video like this that comes along to remind you that people are inherently good. Imagine that ;)

Car flips on the highway, dozens of people immediately stop to help. [MOBILE VIDEO]

Extremely shy pizza delivery man stuns everyone. [MOBILE VIDEO]

No matter how old or jaded I get, this kind of stuff will always warm my cold heart :)

Home of the Brave

This morning, I said I wasn't going to get all sappy about Whitney Houston, but a friend of mine posted her still unbelievable rendition of The Star-Spangled Banner on Facebook and now I can't help it. No one has ever come CLOSE to this. Every single time I hear someone try, I bring up this rendition and everyone is always like, "Oh yeah... no way. No one will ever be able to do that again."

The important thing to remember is that this was aired during wartime. It was during Desert Storm; a war that America truly supported our troops in. I remember my dad taking me to Westover Air Force Base to see the troops come home and, to this day, it is one of the most emotional events I have ever attended. I will never forget that day. This version of this song is intimately connected with that day for me and will always be special to my heart and to my understanding of how the people in this country should support one another during tough times.

When you watch this, pay special attention to all the waving flags in the stadium, to the reverence of the salutes, to the USA banners, to the precision of the flyover.

This really brought me back. Nothing holds a candle to this. Nothing ever will.

RIP Whitney.

One Man Phantom of the Opera

Okay, here's the deal with this one. If you do not like music, don't watch this. If you do not like musical theater, don't watch this. It will just look silly to you. If you love both, WATCH THIS.

Shaun White - Perfect 100

I don't do anything as well as this guy can fly.

Doesn't Take Much

More things in life should go like this thing did.

We Take Care Of Our Own

I don't even know how it's possible that I didn't see this until today:

And, what the hell... while you' re feeling all America-y, watch this one, too:
